Michael Glazer is the founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hire Intelligence, LLC. Over the past decade, Michael has served as counsel for a number of private and publicly-traded domestic and international companies through Michael B. Glazer, Attorney at Law, P.C., representing business clients in a wide variety of business and commercial transactions, contract drafting, negotiations and review, strategic planning, litigation management, company formations, technology matters, intellectual property prosecution and licensing and domestic and international general business matters.

Prior to entering private practice, Michael spent the previous 15 years as in-house counsel for both publicly-traded and privately-held companies, with responsibility for all company-wide legal matters, including business combination and divestiture transactions, operational and strategic planning, transactional and operational due diligence, contract negotiations, drafting and review of operational, service, supplier, customer, financing, intellectual property licensing and royalty, real estate and oil and gas agreements, litigation management, domestic and international corporate, partnership and limited liability company governance, and securities compliance matters.

Michael served as Vice President-General Counsel for Howard Schultz & Associates International, Inc., an international financial services company, and Corporate Counsel for Kaneb Services, Inc., a diversified international services organization. Michael has also held legal services and senior management positions with IRG Technologies, Inc. and Harken Energy Corp.

Michael earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and a B.B.A., with concentrations in Finance and Marketing, from The University of Texas at Austin. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Texas and Dallas Bar Association and served on the State Bar of Texas Business Law Section Codification Committee for the Texas Business Organizations Code. Michael is also active in many civic and charitable organizations, including GC Netweavers, CEO Netweavers, The Center for Nonprofit Management, Dallas Jewish Community Foundation, Southwest Jewish Congress and URJ Greene Family Camp.

Ellen A. Presby is a co-founder and Director of Litigation Services of Hire Intelligence. Ellen is an accomplished trial lawyer with more than two decades of litigation experience. Ellen serves as lead attorney for personal injury, products liability, sexual abuse, pharmaceutical injury cases and environmental exposure. Her resume of civil trial work covers the gamut: she has handled cases involving business disputes, environmental clean-up, premises liability, personal injury, products liability, medical negligence, sexual abuse, deceptive trade practices, contract disputes, and employment law. Ellen was at the forefront of advocating for the rights of Fen-Phen victims and was named a member of the Seventh Amendment Liaison Committee in the Fen-Phen MDL litigation, which obtained $1.275 billion in excess funding for the Nationwide Class Settlement Agreement.

Ellen Presby earned her J. D. degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Davis. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Third and Fifth Circuits and the United States Supreme Court.

A frequent lecturer and speaker, Ellen Presby has taught trial advocacy skills and litigation-specific continuing legal education courses through the Southern Methodist University School of Law, the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, the Dallas Bar Association, and other programs. She is also the co-author of the book Texas Pretrial Practice, published in 2000 and updated annually. For her career accomplishments, Ellen was recognized as one of the top 50 female lawyers in Texas by Texas Monthly magazine and Law & Politics Media in 2004, and was listed as a Texas Super Lawyer by these publications since 2003. She has also been named an Advocate by the National College of Advocacy's Achievement Recognition Program, through the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Among her many professional activities, she has served as Co-Chair of the State Bar of Texas Grievance Committee, the Executive Committee of the Dallas Chapter of American Board of Trial Advocates, the Boards of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and Public Justice Foundation. Ellen is also a member of the Leaders Forum of the American Association of Justice and serves on the boards of several philanthropic organizations and educational institutions.

John received his law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas and a B.A. Degree in Political Science from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. Following law school, he practiced primarily in the area of insurance defense litigation. He also served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas and as a prosecutor for the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office. He is currently licensed in the State of Texas and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. He is an active member of the Dallas and Tarrant County Bar Associations.

Before joining Hire Intelligence, John also received extensive sales and marketing experience with GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals in a variety of the company’s divisions including state vaccine programs, major group purchasing organizations and United States Military accounts throughout Texas and Wyoming.

Angelo Patrick ("Jack") Advincula is Managing Director for the Philippines operations of Hire Intelligence. For over a decade, Jack has focused his practice in commercial litigation, arbitration, government policy and taxation as a Partner at Zambrano & Gruba Law Offices in Metro Manila (Makati City), Philippines. He has also represented clients on corporate finance matters, such as mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, re-capitalizations, venture capital financing, corporate restructuring and debt offerings, including equipment leasing and other commercial lending transactions, as well as licensing and distribution arrangements. Jack’s practice has also included representation of clients on general corporate matters, such as corporate governance and stockholder rights.

Jack received his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 1996 and has been a member of the Philippines Bar since 1997. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, cum laude, from the University of the Philippines in 1991 and is a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society.”

Antero Jose (“Anjo”) M. Caganda is a partner at Zambrano and Gruba Law Offices, leading the firm's corporate, tax advisory and banking groups. Anjo graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo Law School in 1994, and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1995. His practice is focused on business entity formation/reorganization/winding up, cross border transaction structuring, acquisitions and divestitures, debt financing arrangements, securities transactions, real property acquisition and conveyancing, and contracts.

Anjo’s notable engagements include:
• Transaction advice on the acquisition of a major Philippine bank by way of a government privatization process;
• Supervising a team a lawyers engaged by Project EMERGE of the USAID to review the Philippine government policy on Financial Sector taxation (First Module). The study identified instances of tax arbitrage across different industries in the Philippine financial sector, with the purpose of eventually promoting a tax-neutral environment.
• Transaction advice on the real property asset acquisition by a private equity fund, including tax advice on the structure of the inward investment and the capital and profit repatriation upon divestiture of the investment.
• Legal review of the Philippine operations of a multinational seed products and planting materials company.

Anjo has advised a Philippine business process outsourcing company in the partial acquisition by a Fortune 500 company of a US$15 million ownership stake and a China-based company in the US $20 million acquisition of a mixed use leisure and resort park, where the firm performed extensive due diligence, deal structuring, acquisition agreements drafting, and management of tax implications.

Lily K. Gruba is the Managing Partner for Zambrano and Gruba Law Offices. Lily’s legal career started when she worked for former Philippine Supreme Court Chief Justice Andres R. Narvasa in 1979; following which, she served as General Counsel for one of the Philippines’ largest government financial institutions and, from 1998 to 2000, as Undersecretary for the Philippines Department of Finance.

Lily completed her legal education both at the Ateneo De Manila University School of Law, where she earned her Bachelor of Laws Degree, and at Georgetown Law School in Washington D.C., where she pursued her Masters Degree in the field of Law.

Among Lily’s academic contributions is her position as Associate Dean at the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law, where she also teaches taxation, local government taxation and mergers and acquisitions. Her other professional experience includes assignments as General Counsel and Board Member of a leading Philippines commercial bank and she recently served as a Philippines Bar Examiner for Taxation.

W. David Sanders is a co-founder of Dallas Advisory Partners, an advisory services firm focused on optimizing enterprise value of small and mid sized technology companies serving the North American market.

David is a senior executive with 30 years of experience in the outsourcing and consulting business. He gained his expertise in selling, deal making and running large operations with four large public and private companies. He also ran a small service company that was the consolidation of three companies. He has the unique background of deep outsourcing expertise along with nine years of large consulting engagements. He is experienced with all aspects of outsourcing to include infrastructure outsourcing, time sharing, software as a service (SaaS), application service provider (ASP), application outsourcing and business process outsourcing. He has extensive consulting experience in program management, systems integration, ERP implementation, technology training, executive decision support, technology strategy, client server transformation and enterprise architecture. He has experience with three large technology companies as they either acquired companies, went through an IPO or were acquired by a larger company. He was a founding partner of one of the fastest growing consulting companies in the US.

David received his Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an Executive MBA from the Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University. He has always been active in the technology community. He was the President of the Nashville Chapter of the Association for Systems Management (ASM). He also was a Founder and later President of the High Tech Initiative in Nashville that focused on improving the technology economic development environment in that region. He had a radio show in Nashville where he interviewed technology CEO's. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Systems and Software Consortium (SSCI) in Washington DC. SSCI focuses on the development of systems and software processes that improve business performance. He has been an active member of the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA) for 7 years and the past 3 years served as the Chairman of ITAA. He lead the recent merger of ITAA with the Government Electronic and Information Technology Association (GEIA).

Skip Scott is a Partner at Diamond McCarthy, LLC with offices in Texas and New York. A commercial trial lawyer since 1987 Skip joined Diamond McCarthy LLC in September 2000 after practicing six years with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher L.L.P. and another seven years with Hughes & Luce, LLP.

Skip's areas of experience include a wide range of business and commercial litigation involving securities and fraud cases, oil and gas disputes, professional (accountants, director/officer) liability suits, environmental actions, and various real estate cases, business torts, and contract disputes with private and governmental entities, both domestically and abroad, and in both federal and state courts.

Skip received his B.S. degree from Texas A & M University in 1984, where he graduated cum laude and was elected Phi Beta Kappa. He received his J.D. degree from the University of Texas with honors in 1987. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and has been admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Ninth Circuits. Skip also has served as Special U.S. Legal Counsel to the Office of the President for the Republic of the Philippines and as Special Advisor to the Secretary of Finance for the Republic of the Philippines.

Thomas W. Mills, Jr. is a partner at Mills & Williams, LLP. Since entering private law practice in 1972, Tom's skilled representation in high profile cases has earned him a reputation as one of the top trial lawyers in Texas. He has been at the forefront of many large and at times colorful, controversial, and legally significant cases. Mr. Mills' professional emphasis has been primarily in criminal law and civil trial law with criminal law issues, while his civil representation has covered complex defense work representing those accused of wrongdoing in the business environment. Tom's criminal practice includes grand jury representation, criminal antitrust, financial and investment crimes, environmental violations, money laundering investigations and prosecutions, anti-money laundering compliance, mail fraud, bank fraud, government procurement fraud, RICO claims, insurance fraud, theft of trade secrets litigation and computer fraud litigation.

Mr. Mills is board certified in criminal law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is presently chair of the ABA Intellectual Property subsection on computer crime and security, and an Executive Committee member and the Legislative Committee co-chair of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer Association, as well as a life member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Tom has served on the Complex Crimes Committee and the White Collar Crime Committee of the American Bar Association and is the former Chairman of the Dallas Bar Association Criminal Justice Committee. Mr. Mills has received the coveted President's Commendation Award from the National Association for Criminal Defense Lawyers, and is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. In 2003 and 2004, Texas Monthly named him a "Texas Super Lawyer." and D Magazine has identified Tom as one of "The Best Lawyers in Dallas" in both criminal defense and white-collar defense, the only criminal defense lawyer to make the list twice.

Mr. Mills received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University in 1969 and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas in 1972. After completing a Ford Foundation Grant Project at the Washington, D.C. Public Defender Office, Mr. Mills began his private practice of law in Dallas, Texas, primarily engaging in litigation in civil and criminal trial practice in federal court. Before opening his own practice, Mr. Mills held positions as a partner at Vial, Hamilton, Koch & Knox, and as head of the white collar crime section at Gardere & Wynne. He has also been an instructor at Southern Methodist University School of Law and the National College of Criminal Defense Lawyers and Public Defenders and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
